Abstract
By fully tapping into the regulating potential of prosumer energy storage and optimally configuring centralized energy storage, not only is the safety and economy of microgrid operation enhanced, but the investment cost of energy storage is also reduced. Based on this, a method for optimal capacity configuration of centralized energy storage is proposed, which considers the aggregated utility of prosumer energy storage. The cloud energy storage operator sets prices to aggregate prosumer energy storage, considering the benefits from energy storage services and electricity trading, and establishes a model for optimal capacity configuration of centralized energy storage with the goal of maximizing its own profits. Prosumers, with the goal of minimizing operational costs, optimize the state of charge of their own energy storage, respond to the aggregated capacity of cloud energy storage, and optimize electricity trading. Case study analysis shows that the proposed method can fully utilize prosumer energy storage and reduce the investment and construction costs of centralized energy storage.
