Abstract
Enhancing output power under low current conditions while suppressing saturation under high current conditions presents a critical challenge for the magnetic field energy harvester (MFEH). Previous studies have demonstrated that adding a series-connected capacitor in front of the rectifier can improve the output power. However, this method exacerbates core saturation under high-current conditions and lacks constant voltage (CV) output. To further expand the operating current range of the MFEH with a series-connected capacitor under high-current conditions, this paper proposes a saturation suppression method based on coil switching and voltage regulation. Two AC switches are used to control the connection of two coils to the main circuit, allowing the system to achieve power enhancement at low currents and saturation suppression at high currents. A supercapacitor is used for energy management and voltage regulation. The proposed method extends the unsaturated operating current of the magnetic core from 30A to 335A.
