Abstract
In the instrumentation testing industry, there is an increasing demand for wide-range and low-voltage ripple output DC power supplies. At the same time, it is necessary to ensure that the DC power supply has good steady-state characteristics and dynamic response. This paper designs a DC output power supply using a full-bridge isolated BUCK converter as the main topology. Based on the analysis of the basic BUCK converter, its mathematical models in CCM and DCM modes are derived, and then extended to the proposed converter. The conventional PID controller is used to control the full-bridge converter to achieve the control effect. Finally, a DC power supply prototype with the maximum output power of 3kW, output voltage range of 0-600V, and output current range of 0-10A is designed. Through steady-state and dynamic characteristic experiments, it is confirmed that this DC power supply meets the design requirements.
