Abstract
The EC-WPT technology has the advantages of low eddy current losses, low cost, lightweight and is suitable for mobile devices. It can be used to address the issue of insufficient battery life for mobile power-consuming equipment. However, the segment size of the long transmitting plate in the dynamic EC-WPT system is close to the high-frequency excitation wavelength. This proximity significantly affects the system due to the long-line effect. Besides, the system experiences new phenomena such as uneven spatial distribution of the coupling electric field and significant fluctuations in voltage/current, and these would pose a huge challenge to the stability of the system’s output voltage. This paper proposes a mathematical model for the dynamic EC-WPT system with a long transmitting plate based on transmission line theory, and presents a constant voltage output method for the dynamic EC-WPT system with a long transmitting plate under the influence of the long-line effect. The correctness of the system model and control method is verified through simulation.
